Tapioca Powder is a delicious and nutritious food. It is used to make puttu, ada, sweetened tapioca, etc. Adding rice flour to tapioca powder while preparing puttu, gives puttu a very good taste.
Numals desiccated coconut is prepared from good quality brown/mature coconut by grating and drying (without removing oil). All kinds of sweets which can be made with raw grated coconut can be prepared by using Numals desiccated coconut. Grind the coconut in a mixie with little water and squeeze it to get fresh coconut milk. Sauté and use it for making curries. Coconut chutney powder, prawns chutney powder, etc., can also be made with Numals desiccated coconut.
